A contender for the Ablekuma Central Constituency Parliamentary candidate position, Jefferson Sackey believes that he is the chosen one to bring the seat to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He believes that the people of Ablekuma Central deserve a better candidate in Parliament and he presents competence.
Jefferson Sackey believes he stands tall and will emerge the victor in the ongoing election and
“Today I am winning the primary, so far so good, it has been a clean and fair election.
“I will win, we believe that the Ablekuma Central seat is for the NPP and we need to present a formidable candidate to win,” he said when he spoke in an interview on Accra-based TV3.
Delegates of the NPP are voting today in the orphan constituencies to elect their parliamentary candidates.
The election forms part of the party‘s preparation ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Orphan constituencies are areas where the NPP has no sitting MPs. In other words, constituencies whose MPs are from the National Democratic Congress or independent candidates.
