New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Nasara Coordinator, Aziz Futa, is of the view that Ghana is currently in an economic war.
He believes that what Ghana needs at the helm of leadership is someone who has the economic acumen to fight the economic war the world is currently facing.
“If there is a war you don’t need a teacher to use a marker in fighting the war. The world is currently facing an economic war so you don’t need Lawyers, you don’t need a Communicator, you don’t need a teacher to lead Ghana today or tomorrow.
You need an economist who knows how to put Ghana in the digital economic era that we are in in the world now. You don’t need anybody but Dr Bawumia who is an economic guru to lead us to victory in the 2024 elections,” he noted while speaking to GhOne Television in an interview.
The New Patriotic Party is hoping the break the eight-year cycle of political parties in Ghana’s political history.
The party will be led by Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who hopes to make history.
