Anselme Santos, the Ivorian man who was seen in a viral video trying so hard to get a lady during Ivory Coast’s triumph over Senegal has apologized to his family.
According to him, in the heat of the excitement, he was carried away to get the contact of the lady who sat close to him at the stadium.
However, the lady refused to give out her contact information, so he did not push further.
Anselme Santos said he has realized that his actions have affected his family adversely and has asked that he be forgiven.
“In the euphoria, I told [the woman in the video] ‘give me your number’. It wasn’t mean, but she didn’t want to. So I didn’t insist. I would like to take this chance to apologise to my wife and my children” he said via @ActuFootAfrique
