Ghana coach Chris Hughton was among the national team coaches who had a vote for this year’s FIFA Best awards.

The Black Stars coach voted for Argentina captain Lionel Messi as the World Player of The Year.

The former Brighton and Hove Albion boss chose France and Paris Saint Germain forward Kylian Mbappe for second place.

Hughton who voted on behalf of all Ghanaian coaches named Manchester City striker Erling Braut Haaland as his third choice.

Messi was controversially named the FIFA World Player of The Year award in London for the eighth time in his career.
