Abedi Ayew ‘Pele’ is not one to often make public appearances but when he does, he seizes the country’s attention.
On Wednesday, the Maestro made the latest of his headline-grabbing oubkic appearance at the Kotoko International Airport.
In a durag, basketball shorts, fashion chain and trainers, the 59-year-old looked the part as he pick up his sons, André and Jordan, from the airport upon their return to Ghana from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Football fans and others present at the airport took out their phones to capture the rare moment.
Andre and Jordan Ayew were returning from Ghana’s disappointing campaign at AFCON 2023.
The Black Stars exited the tournament at the group stage after picking just points from three matches.
This Ghana’s third successive group stage elimination at a major tournament.
