President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced the sacking of some Twenty- Three (23) Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs)
A correspondence issued and signed by the President dated February 2, 2023, indicated that it was in accordance with Article 243(3) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(3) (b) of the Local Government Act, 2014, Act (936).
The sacking of affected MMDCES takes immediate effect with plans to announce their replacements
