Sports journalist Dan Kwaku Yeboah has said no serious President would hear remarks passed about him in the manner Kwesi Nyantakyi did without taking action on the person.

According to Dan Kweku Yeboah, President Akufo-Addo should have dealt with Kwesi Nyantakyi for some remarks he was caught on tape saying about the President.

“Which president will allow you to say the things you said about him on the Number 12 tape. He (Akufo-Addo) has sold his properties and houses and he is in your pocket. You are even lucky he has left you to walk around. .. Now you are saying gari and shito”. Kweku Yeboah said.

Following the Number 12 Expose’ by investigative journalist Anas Armeyaw Anas in 2018, it was believed that Mr Nyantakyi said he had the president in his pocket.

However, speaking in an interview, the former CAF 1st Vice President said it was all propaganda to tarnish his image and wreck his political ambition.

Recenlty speaking in reaction to Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Number 12 documentary that caused his resignation from his post, Nyantaky said even though he was disappointed with the manner in which many journalists joined the public to further tarnish his image, he holds no grudges against any of them.

He cited Dan Kweku Yeboah as an example but said he bore no grudges.

Kwesi Nyantakyi appearing on Bola Ray’s Starr Chat radio programme last week monitored by MyNewsGh.com said he helped many Ghanaian sports journalists including Dan Kwaku Yeboah but many of them repaid him with ingratitude.
