Former Ghana coach Chris Hughton has arrived in the United Kingdom After cutting ties with the Ghana Football Association.

Hughton was sacked after superintending Ghana’s disappointing group stage exit at the Africa Cup of.

Hughton led Ghana to two draws and one defeat, amassing two points in the process.

On Friday, the former Brighton and Hove Albion manager was seen at the Heathrow International Airport, after arriving in the United Kingdom.

Hughton is expected to plan his retirement after leaving the Black Stars job.

Meanwhile, Ghana have began the search for Hughton’s replacement by naming a five-member committee spearhead the hunt.

GFA vice president Mark Addo will chair the committee. He will be assisted by private legal practitioner Ace Ankomah, while Director of Coaching Education at the GFA, Professor J.K Mintah, former Kotoko General Manager Opoku Nti and chief director at the Sports Ministry, William Caesar Kartey serve as members.

According to the GFA, the committee have three weeks to present their report to its Executive Council.
