An aide to the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Krobea Asante, is of the view that Dome Kwabenya is now a safe seat after Adwoa Safo’s exit.
He believes that claims that the constituency is divided can never be true and is optimistic that the constituency will increase its votes in the upcoming elections.
Making his point in a post shared via social media, Krobea Asante argued that Mike Ocquaye Junior will do better than the results the political party garnered during the 2020 elections.
Korbea Kwabena Asante indicated that Mike Ocquaye Junior is already an MP-elect for Dome Kwabenya.
His post on Facebook read “With Mike Gabo Oquaye as our candidate, Dome Kwabenya seat is safe again. He will do better than the 2020 results garnered. The constituency is not divided. He has the full support of all. Chaka Dericks and his team are in charge and are going to pull votes from areas we hardly get votes for Gabo.
Dome Kwabenya is super safe. Ashongman, Kwabenya, Dome and Taifa will vote massively for him and he will bring some votes from his natural base which is also the stronghold of the NDC. Gabo is an MP elect.
