A well-known American professional basketball player was Earl Cureton. He was a player with the Philadelphia 76ers, Detroit Pistons, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Clippers, Charlotte Hornets, Houston Rockets, and Toronto Raptors in the National Basketball Association. He went by “The Twirl” for short.
