This is the second time Ekow Vincent has beaten Louise Carol after the 2020 elections that brought him to power.

Ekow Vincent transitioned from being the Public Relations Manager of the Ministry of Education to being a Member of Parliament.

Louise Carol gained prominence after her attack on the grassroots on Facebook, an action that led to her suspension and later unpopularity among the grassroots of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
