Ghanaian musician, Dr Cryme born Darlington Agyekum has said promoters should look out for an artiste with crazy energy to entertain the crowd at events for longer hours.
During an interview on Property FM in Cape Coast, the rapper said promoters complain about musicians who take huge booking fees but don’t keep long on stage.
He revealed “I see a lot of promoters talk about the fact that some musicians don’t keep long on stage after the huge sums of money that they’ve been paid. Again just like I’ve been saying we need to sometimes remind the people of what you are capable of doing or what you’ve already done. When scouting for musicians for an event, it’s not every musician whose name comes to mind should necessarily be listed,” Dr Cryme told Amansan Krakye.
He added, “At the end of the day it’s those of us who have done it before that should be counted and so if you need crazy energy you don’t need to be told”.
