Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will step down from his role at the end of the 2023/24 season.

Since joining the Reds in October 2015, Klopp has guided them to the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and a Club World Cup titles.

However, he will bring the curtain down on a eight-and-a-half-year managerial reign at Anfield this summer.

A club statement said Klopp will leave with his assistants Pepijn Lijnders and Peter Krawietz.

Elite development coach Vitor Matos, will also leave at the end of the season.

Reports suggest Pep Lijnders will pursue a personal career in management instead of continuing as Klopp’s assistant.
