The National Youth Organizer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), George Opare Addo, has assured small-scale miners of uninterrupted work if they support the NDC boot out the New Patriotic Party from power.
The National Youth Organizer of the NDC indicated that the political party will need not just their votes but also their monetary support in the fight to push the bad NPP government out of power.
He is of the view that it is the NDC government that can better the fortunes of miners in the country.
“I stand in here as the National Youth Organizer to say that if, as miners, you help us to kick this failed government out by supporting us with your strength, knowledge, and cash. If we come to power, we will also support your work and make it prosperous.
We know what you need. I am aware our Deputy Regional Organizer is into legal mining, so we know your concerns. We have interacted with you people, so we know what you want. We know that you need the Minerals Commission and the EPA in the district, and we will ensure that they are there.
What we are promising can only become a reality if H.E. John Dramani Mahama becomes president. We are pleading with you that whichever way you can support us, please do so that we can bring the man who is a doer to power,” he told the charged crowd.
