The anti-doping tests results of Victor Osimhen and two of his Nigerian teammates have been revealed.
Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon, and William Troost Ekong had their samples taken for impromptu doping tests after Nigeria’s 2-0 group stage win over Guinea Bissau last week.
Although the tests were an exercise of routine anti-doping protocols, the other-worldly exertions by Osimhen especially, may have triggered the tests.
Fortunately for Nigeria, all three players returned negative samples for all banned substance.
The trio have therefore been cleared to continue their AFCON 2023 participation.
