Equatorial Guinea reached the peak of powers when they thrashed Guinea Bissau 4-2 in their second Group A match at AFCON 2023.

34-year-old Emilio Nsue scored the first AFCON hat trick in 16years to power the Equato-Guineans to a comprehensive 4-2 win.

The pick of the goals was the fourth, and Nsue’s hat trick goal.

While the goal was well-taken, it was the celebration that caught the attention of many.

As the players lined up to celebrated, they stopped and instead mock-practiced shooting and heading scenarios.

The result sends them top of Group A with four points ahead of Côte d’Ivoire who face Nigeria at 17:00 hours GMT today.
