Ghana’s Black Stars held their first training session in Abidjan on Wednesday evening after arriving in La Cote D’Ivoire earlier in the day.

The recovery training session lasted a little over one hour before the team was dispatched back to their hotel.

Ghana arrived in Abidjan in the afternoon and moved straight to the training ground in the evening to work out.

Supervised by coach Chris Hughton, the players were taken through their drills to relax their muscles after the flight.

The Stars will kick start their tournament against Cape Verde on Sunday, January 14, before tackling Egypt and Mozambique in the other Group B games on Thursday, January 18, and Monday, January 22, 2024, respectively.

The Black Stars will hold another training session today as they continue preparing for Sunday’s group opener against Cape Verde.

Egypt and Mozambique are the two other teams in Ghana’s group.
