COP George Alex Mensah has lost in his first attempt to become the Member of Parliament for the Bekwai constituency.
He polled 245 against his contender, Ralph Opoku Adusei, who polled 662.
COP George Alex Mensah was optimistic about a win, especially after he was endorsed by the current Member of Parliament.
But Lawyer Ralph Opoku Adusei who has been a grassroots man proved his mettle as he beat his main contender.
