Egypt coach, Rui Vitoria, has warned his team against any potential slip ups when they face Ghana in their second Group B match on Thursday.

Egypt survived a Mozambique scare to draw 2-2 draw in their opening game, with Mohamed Salah’s late penalty salvaging a point.

Speaking at Wednesday’s press conference, the Portuguese trainer stressed the importance of maintaining concentration against the experienced Ghanaian team.

“It’s going to be a different story. We will have to reduce the spaces and be more concentrated because against an experienced team like Ghana, the slightest mistake is paid dearly,” Vitoria stated.

Record winners of the competition Egypt will face four-time winners Ghana in a heavyweight contest on Thursday.

Both teams need to win to boost their chances of progressing to the next stage, after failing to win their first group stage matches.
