Nigeria played out a 1-1 draw in their opening Group A game with Equatorial Guinea and need to win to enhance their chances of progressing to the knock out stage.
Nigeria and hosts Côte d’Ivoire last met at the AFCON in 2013.
The Super Eagles won the quarter final tie by two goals to one against a star-studded Ivorian team.
Today’s encounter will kick off at 17:00 hours GMT at Ebimpe.
