Trade and Industry Minister K.T. Hammond says he does not believe in the Global Info Analytics survey, which indicates his votes will be reduced by 23%.

He says the survey is not representative because most of his delegates cannot access telecommunication networks.

To him, the researchers may have called the wrong people, hence their conclusion in the said research.

“Do they know where my constituency is? It is useless. Nobody should bet one cent on that hopelessness. It is useless because you cannot tell me that you interviewed all my delegates.

“Some of the delegates do not even use their phones. There is no telephone line in some of the towns. Don’t waste my brains on this. It’s bogus balderdash; discard it,” Hammond emphatically told Kwasi Parker-Wilson, the host of the show.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will go to the polls on January 27, 2024, to elect their parliamentary candidates for the 2024 elections.

Before the primaries, 18 leading members of parliament indicated that they would not contest the 2024 elections.

Analysts have said that Parliament losing such bigwigs will be a big blow considering their experience in the legislative business.
