From journalist to parliamentarian, Mark Woyongo’s voice boomed across Ghana. In Upper East, he championed regional development, a regional minister with a journalist’s heart.

From 2009 to 2012, he served as the Upper East Region’s Minister. On the NDC ticket, he ran and won the 2012 legislative elections.

After serving as Upper East Regional Minister, he was named Minister of Defense in 2013 and thereafter to the Ministry of the Interior.
